How it started...

Michelle, the owner and founder of Velvet Sounds Karaoke & Entertainment, has been captivating audiences with her voice since she was a child. From her early days in choirs and school plays to entertaining family and friends around the campfire with her guitar, music has always been her passion.

In 1993, Michelle stumbled upon karaoke, and by 1994, she was already making waves as an independent contractor for some of Minnesota's top karaoke services. With over 31 years of experience as a professional KJ, she brings a wealth of talent and professionalism to every event. Not only is Michelle a gifted singer, but she also excels as a karaoke host, possessing an exceptional ear for sound and a reliability that clients can count on.
